Is there an “open flame” with the Z Grills?

For most of our grills, we use a heat baffle to block out direct flame to create convection heating. We do not support open flame grilling by design, but you can remove the heat baffle and the grease drain pan to access the open flame.

For our 600 series, there is a built-in slide plate broiler that allows for direct and indirect flame grilling.
